RESERVATION AND PAYMENT CONDITIONSOpen Forest Bathing SessionsIt is necessary to register and pay for events through the Grounded in Nature website. The reservation is final once the participant has booked and paid. After receiving payment Grounded in Nature will contact the participant with more information about the session.Private/Corporate Forest Bathing SessionsAfter the client has accepted Grounded in Nature’s proposal, Grounded in Nature will send a quote that must be approved by the client. At this point, the reservation is final. After the activity, Grounded in Nature will send an invoice that must be paid within 14 days of receipt.CANCELLATION CONDITIONSOpen Forest Bathing SessionsBy the participant: Once booked and paid for, activities cannot be cancelled. However, the spot that has been booked can be given to someone else; please notify the guide of the alternate participant at least one day in advance at [email protected] or (+31 6 82905589).If the participant does not show up at the agreed date, time, and spot without cancelling, they are not entitled to participate in another session without payment or send an alternative participant in their place. A new reservation will have to be made.In case of emergencies: In the event of illness of the guide (Renée van der Wiel) or other emergencies, the activity will be rescheduled to another date. If the new arrangement is not satisfactory for the participant, they can choose to receive a refund.Cancellation in case of extreme weather conditions (code orange or red KNMI) and/or wind force 6 or higher, with or without gusts and/or extreme temperature): activities will be cancelled. The participant will be notified by email at least one day in advance. Participants can choose to attend another scheduled session, depending on availability.Private/Business Forest BathingBy the client: Once booked and paid for, activities cannot be cancelled and cannot be refunded. In consultation, we can look for an alternative solution/date for the forest bathing activity.In case of emergencies: In case of illness of the guide (Renée van der Wiel) or other emergencies, the activity will be rescheduled to another date. If this is not possible, the client will receive a refund within two business days.
Cancellation in case of extreme weather conditions (code orange or red KNMI) and/or wind force 6 or higher, with or without gusts and/or extreme temperatures): activities will be cancelled. The client will be notified by email at least one day in advance. An alternate date and time for the activity will the arranged.
CONFIDENTIALITYAll information provided by participants during the activity will be treated confidentially. Participants are also expected to treat the information of other participants confidentially. What is said within the group stays within the group.RESPONSIBILITYParticipants and clients of all listed activities and services of Grounded in Nature:- Recognise that outdoor activities in natural environments may entail risks, whether personal or material, to themselves or to third parties.- Are aware that in some cases, activities take place in locations where emergency services may take longer to arrive in the event of an accident.- Recognize that Grounded in Nature and its guides will always avoid safety risks where possible, but have no control over unpredictable risk factors.- Participants in activities agree that Grounded in Nature, as the organiser of the activity or event, cannot be held liable for any damages incurred.Upon registration and participation in an activity, the participant agrees that:- they are aware of the risks of the activity and participate voluntarily.- they will respect the rules and guidelines provided by Grounded in Nature, as well as follow recommendations and instructions; for their own safety, that of others (participants or non-participants), and for the setting where the activity takes place, whether a public natural environment or private property.- Grounded in Nature assumes no responsibility for inappropriate behaviour of participants during activities or for damage caused by a third party (participant or non-participant) or the natural environment.Grounded in Nature and its guide hold Commercial Damage Liability insurance.Grounded in Nature and its guide hold a First Aid and Outdoor First Aid diploma.COPYRIGHT AND OWNERSHIPThe text and images on this website, the corporate identity, and all invitations are copyrighted by Renée van der Wiel of Grounded in Nature©. At the start of an activity/event there is a 10-minute leeway to ensure that all participants can arrive at the designated meeting point.COMPLAINTS PROCEDUREIf you have a complaint, please contact Renée van der Wiel, founder of Grounded in Nature, as soon as possible (within two weeks at the latest) to see if a solution can be found together.Grounded in Nature intends to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible and to your full satisfaction. Complaints will be treated confidentially. Grounded in Nature can be reached by phone and email for administrative complaints or complaints regarding the sessions. These questions or complaints will be answered within ten business days of receipt. Complaints requiring a longer processing time will be answered immediately with a confirmation of receipt and an indication of when you can expect a response.Complaints and the manner in which they are handled are recorded and retained for two years.
